How to Donate — Big Give Small Charity Week

Double your donation. Double your impact

From midday Monday 22 June to 5pm Monday 29 June 2026, every donation made to our Let’s Talk Periods campaign through the Big Give will be matched — up to our £1,750 match pot. That means your £20 becomes £40, and your £100 becomes £200, at no extra cost to you.

Every matched pound helps us to get people talking about periods to break down stigma and raise awareness of menstrual health.

Three ways to give

However you prefer to pay, your donation starts in the same place: our Big Give campaign page.

Credit or debit card
(including Apple Pay & Google Pay)

The quickest option for most donors.

  • Visit our campaign page while the campaign is open and click Donate
  • Complete the donation form with your card details
  • No account needed — you can give as a guest
  • Donate from £1 up to £25,000

Pay by Bank

No card needed — donate straight from your banking app.

  • Follow the same donation journey on our campaign page
  • At step 3, select Pay by Bank and follow the on-screen instructions
  • Donate from £1 up to £10,000
  • Check whether your bank supports Pay by Bank
  • More about how it works: Big Give launches Pay by Bank

Donation Funds (BACS bank transfer) — for gifts of £500+

Designed for larger gifts where you’d rather not use a card. Funds are securely processed through Stripe and credited to a Big Give donor account before you donate.

How it works:

  1. Set up a Big Give donor account
  2. Complete a short form confirming your intended donation
  3. You’ll receive unique bank details linked to your account
  4. Transfer your funds to those details (this is a virtual bank account, so your bank may not be able to verify it — Big Give can provide a verification letter from Stripe on request)
  5. Once received, your donor account is credited with the equivalent in donation funds (transfer £1,000, receive £1,000 in funds)
  6. During the campaign week, visit our campaign page, sign in at the top of the donation form, and complete your donation using your Donation Funds — no card details needed

Note: BACS donations are available to UK bank account holders only. CHAPS, SEPA, and international transfers cannot be accepted.

Which bank option should I use?

Choose Donation Funds instead of Pay by Bank if:

  • You’re giving more than £10,000 via bank transfer
  • Your bank requires dual approval for transfers
  • Your bank isn’t supported by Pay by Bank
  • You’re a funder donating to multiple charities during the campaign — Donation Funds makes this far more convenient

The important bits

  • Campaign window: midday Monday 22 June – 5pm Monday 29 June 2026. Only donations made through our Big Give campaign page in this window are matched.
  • Minimum donation: £1. Maximum: £25,000.
  • Match funds are reserved for 30 minutes once you start your donation. If the timer expires, you can continue unmatched or start again — but match funds aren’t guaranteed to still be available. Please complete your donation in one sitting.
  • Don’t leave it to the final minutes. If you’re planning a donation on the last day, allow at least a couple of hours’ buffer in case of any issues.
  • What can’t be matched: donations on other websites, offline donations, cheques, CAF payments, or bank transfers arriving after the campaign closes.
